Transform Your Body Part 4 - Exercising and Strength Training

If you want to have definition or a shapely, toned body you will have to strength train to get there. There is so much information out there on weight training that we experience information overwhelm. We never start a workout program no matter how frustrated we are with our bodies and how much we dream of looking good naked.

Let me simplify this for you.

From Part 1 of the series recall your #1 goal for transforming your body. Let your goal lead you to selecting the appropriate type of workout program. If you want Michelle Obama’s arms, pick an arm workout. Want bigger muscles? Choose a bodybuilding program.

Pick one program that you feel you can do that will help you achieve your goals and follow it for 6 weeks.

Why 6 weeks? It takes about 6 weeks for you to adapt to a new program and to see results. The problem is many people follow it for about 2 weeks before they grow bored of it, say it’s not working, and hop on a different program that caught their eye.

This is why one year from now they will have made no progress and look the same.

Every workout program out there works IF you follow it. There is no scientifically ‘superior’ workout for you or for your specific body type. You will get results from following any program.
